Member of the IDSA (Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses) - an autonomous strategic affairs and policy think tank funded by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Areas of specialisation: Economic Diplomacy, India's Nuclear Doctrine and Weapons Program. Strong believer in robustly tested thermonuclear weapons for India and a "Maximalist" Nuclear Doctrine as a currency of international power and a stamp of India's emergence on the global scene as a superpower. I think the United Nations Security Council looks quite ridiculous without India as a permanent member with full veto powers.
